Student Diversity Programs & Services Offices

Colorado State University is proud of its efforts to enhance, appreciate and support diversity and multiculturalism. Below are a selection of programs and services designed to support students in a variety of ways and provide opportunities to successfully participate in and contribute to the diverse campus environment. While each office listed may emphasize a specific segment of the student body, servies and programs are available to benefit all students at CSU.

American/Pacific American Cultural Center (A/PACC)

Asian/Pacific American Cultural Center exists to support the matriculation, retention, and graduation of students at Colorado State University through direct service as well as through campus-wide programs focused on cultural education, leadership, and service.  Committed to inclusion and interculturalism, A/PACC creates and supports opportunities for interaction among University and community constituencies to provide a learning environment that supports all students.

Black/African American Cultural Center (BAACC)

The Black/African American Cultural Center promotes a diverse, inclusive campus environment and serves as a resource to the campus community as well as surrounding communities, through academic, professional, cultural and personal development programs that embrace Black and African American experiences.  The primary goal is to enhance the overall college experience so that students achieve academically and are able to compete in a global society.

Native American Cultural Center (NACC)

The Native American Cultural Center (NACC) office was established in 1979. Our mission is to ensure a successful educational experience for students by providing support and services related to recruitment, retention, graduation, and community outreach. The office embraces and encourages a supportive environment based on the traditions and cultures of Native American peoples.

Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, & Transgender Resource Center (GLBTRC)

The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center office is committed to providing support services, programs and a safe gathering space for GLBT people, other sexual minorities, and allies of the Colorado State University community. Reflecting a commitment to diversity through positive community building, these services include advising, counseling, referrals to other University and external support programs, student group advising, educational outreach programs, co-sponsorships, alumni development and support to those individuals who have reported discrimination, harassment, or intimidation.

Women's Programs and Studies (WPS)

The Office of Women's Programs & Studies provides services and programs with women or gender as a focus for the CSU campus. Programs concentrate on examining the intersections of oppression and creating conditions that allow for all people to share safely and equally in the opportunities and resources provided by CSU. These support services are designed to reflect and enhance the unique goals, expectations, and aspirations of the students. Programs and services also assist students in addressing contemporary issues confronting them.

Resources for Disabled Students (RDS)

Resources for Disabled Students (RDS) recognizes that disability reflects diverse characteristics and experiences, and is an aspect of diversity integral to society. To that end, we collaborate with students, instructors, staff, and community members to create useable, equitable, inclusive and sustainable learning environments. RDS is also committed to supporting Colorado State University as a non-discriminating environment for qualified students with disabilities as mandated by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
