We had an amazing turn out for Noche Latina!

With 300+ people attending A.B. Quintanilla's first University Inspirational Speaking, the setting was very intimate and made for a close and involved event. Quintanilla's speech touched on the topics of being latino, multi-racial, negative connotations with latino-identity, and his own personal experience of growing up as "white" and later learning about his roots and culture. This was definitely the key event of Noche Latina.

Along with A.B.'s speech, we invited three organizations from the Multicultural Greek Council to come out and show us their moves in a strolling competition judged by the audience! Kappa Delta Chi Sorority Inc., Lambda Theta Nu Sorority Inc., and Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc. presented their strolls resulting in the audience granting victory to ΛΘΝ.

There were also presentations of some videos regarding Latino Culture including the video above and the commercial Coca-Cola released for the nationally recognized National Hispanic Heritage Month.
