Las Comadres

 

 

Purpose:

Las Comadres is a community built on friendship, networking, and academic success. It is our mission to inspire, empower and support Latina students at CSU through inclusive and enjoyable programs. Las Comadres will engage staff, faculty and community members with the Latinas on campus.

Be a part of this movement, we are strong; we are Latina women striving for excellence. Through our challenges and our success we will remain united, nothing will stop us from achieving our dreams.

Target Audience

Although Our target audience is Latina women although we are inclusive and welcome all women who want to be part of our group.

Program Structure

Meetings are held biweekly on Wednesdays from 5-7pm. Women get together and do an event that they plan ahead of time. They get snacks, icebreakers to get to know each other and do the main activity, this can range from cooking dinner together, to salsa dancing, to having advice conversations.

  • $15 Fee
