El Centro is fortunate to work in collaboration with CSU's Counseling Services to provide students with access to the many resources they provide.

Adam-Jon Aparicio

Adam-Jon is the Student Diversity Programs & Services (SDPS) Counselor and partners with El Centro on programs and supporting student wellness. Adam-Jon received his Masters of Arts in Community Counseling at Seattle University and his Masters of Education in High Education & Student Affairs Administration at the University of Vermont. Adam-Jon's professional interests consist of multicultural counseling, identity development, men ans masculinity, as well as LGBTQ+ issues. Adam-Jon's role is to support students and other SDPS offices by meeting one-on-one or in groups to process through conflict and other emotional concerns. You can find Adam-Jon in LSC 223 (Student Disability Center Satellite Office) during the following hours:
Mon: 12p -3p
Tues: 10:30a - 1p & 2:30p - 4p
Weds: 9a - 12:30p
Thurs: 9a - 2:30p
